PARTS IN THE MINI-BOX

SCREW SET

MOTOR SETUP

Let's get started!

this is the setup that i want.

like always each motor gets his " deluxe treatment"

these are the screws that i obtain to use, make sure that you check the dept they go in to the motor mount
al this to avoid that you short circuit them or get permanent damage!
Dont forget the .....
and definitely the extra support , this is a must!

mount the motors to the motor holders, check that the head from your screw does not come higher then the plastic border.

this is how i plan to position the 2 esc
conclusion: we need the servo kabel at this lenght to be able to replace them whenever needed
all lipo and motor connections will be replaced.
cutting the motor wire's to the correct lenght ( 12 cm)

checking the turning direction, when you put all 6 motors next to each other on table then
they all need to turn CCW
Now we can close everything with "peace of mind"

Repeat this for all 3 arms

FRAME BUILD

Now this part i can not understand, this part DOES NOT GET DELIVERED with the SPY KIT, that's a real pitty!!! a part from merely a few €, we can say that almost 95´% of the spy will be build with either Naza or Wookong setup, so then this piece is really important. But its not in the kit!!!
maybe in the future it will!

i scratched a graphic from the module on the plate, like that it is really easy to mount it straight and parallel
Use 5 mm stand off's,
STICK WITH 3 M SQUARE TAPE! DON'T USE ANY OTHER TAPE!

make sure that you put a extra shrink tube around your cable set at the border/top of carbon tube, like that you protect all your wire's as maximum as possible , even when you fold your frame together!

MY POWER SETUP
This is what i plan , each arm must be replace able in under 10 min, so we need a type of power connection with bullets, now it looks like we have a lot of room but this takes some planning,
 so hereby my idea

I used a left over from copper plate, drilled a 4mm hole, soldered the main power supply through it,
and on top of that the first female bullet
Now all the other's around the center.keep some space between 1 and 5, we will need it later on.

notice the space that i left open

and last but not least, the power connection for the PMU, comes between bullet 1 and 5, lots of room!

TIME TO MOUNT THE LANDING GEAR

CONNECTING THE MOTORS

DOES EACH MOTOR DO WHAT IT NEEDS TO DO? check once again!

Break the corner whit some sandpaper wherever your cables run
this carbon is laser sharp!
All the powercables run to below, which give's a nice and clean setup.
This is the setup that i run just to show a standard receiver connection, later i will be using the S/D BUS,

first bind your receiver before you do anything else

next run each male to male servo connection to the proper port
connect the led and exp port ( maybe gps to?)

THE CANOPY

Well , my experience, be careful with the canopy! its more fragile then i thought.
secondly, mine was touching the rubber core's on both side's,
so i just removed a little bit from the canopy and now it fits like a glove!!

Mark the position from the back canopy holder on the inside from the canope
here it is and i made a hole from 6 mm( it could use a little bigger)
place grommet and finish the canopy of with some side protector
positioning the PMU at the bottom of the lower plate
led with Velcro

more pictures' will follow soon!
